DetailsA classic Scandinavian design - the Savoy designed by Alvar Aalto for iittala, Finland - Originally a set of 10 objects designed in the 1930s, Aalto made several iterations of the original Savoy and began manufacturing them in the 1960s.
These are (2) small dishes in the “Sand” a smoky brown - this color is no longer in production for Aalto dishes.
Measures: 1) smaller but deep dish 4” wide x 2” tall (marked only iittala on the bottom)
2) largest dish 5” wide x 4” x 1.5” tall (marked iittala on bottom)
Condition: small votive holder has a bubble in the glass in one spot. Otherwise, they both do not have any other flaws, chips, dings nor scratches. Both do have original stickers attached and are marked iittala in the glass. Do not have original boxes. -
