DetailsHand carved, hand painted the Nordic way. Wood working is a long time revered tradition in Scandinavia.
This little lidded dish has blue, orange/red flowers with wisps of greenery. There are notches carved into the round knob on top and along the lid’s rim. Also etched on one side is the following piece from a poem in Swedish: Lilla blomma blå vakna upp hör på
(Little flower blue wake up listen to)
Measures: 2.5” tall x 4” diameter across with lid on.
Condition: some blue paint missing in spots on top of the lid. Otherwise in good vintage condition
