DetailsThese mushroom glass sculptural figures are truly bohemian 1970s at their best. Made by glass designer Monica Backström for Kosta Boda in Sweden, you can’t have just one!
Measures: 3.5” tall (9cm) x 4” across the widest brim (12cm)
Condition: no major flaws, chips, scratches, etc. Missing its original Boda sticker.
Tip: Put it in a spot with good light and it will glow.
About Monica: “... she worked for the Kosta Boda glassworks for more than 40 years. Monica became a prominent designer of glass mushrooms, eggs and vases with colorful expressions. The mushrooms were all made of hand-blown clear glass and then rolled in colored glass powder. On the surface, they were marked with a Boda or Kosta label. Aside from the normal production, a large amount of unique and limited mushrooms were also crafted.“ -
